Boulder Cottage has been a family holiday cottage enjoyed by many generations over the years. It is a three bedroom semi-detached traditional cottage with a lovely, secluded garden and is within the heart of Trevone Bay. It lies opposite the local farm shop, and within an easy five-minute walk of the pub and beach.
Surrounded by beautiful coastal walks, Boulder Cottage, is the perfect place for a holiday in Cornwall.

Cozy and warm

Delightful sitting room with working log burner and two sofas in which to relax and unwind after bracing walks and days on the beach, choosing a book or playing a game from the wide range on the shelves.

The open plan fitted kitchen and diner with dining table and sofa open out onto the sunny terrace and garden.

Sunny and enclosed rear garden secure for young children with two terraces and lawned area.

With three bedrooms and two bathrooms there is plenty of space to slip away for some quiet time or for a short snooze in the afternoon.

We’ve been visiting Boulder Cottage for many years now and every year, can’t wait to go again! The cottage is wonderful - cosy and comfortable with great facilities. The location is excellent, within walking distance of Trevone beach, Harlyn Bay and Padstow. In addition, Robert and Meg are fantastic hosts who are always happy to help and answer queries. Without a doubt, 10 out of 10 for a perfect Cornish getaway!

Boulder Cottage is a beautiful seaside retreat. Comfortable, well-appointed and located a short stroll from the sandy surf haven of Trevone bay and coast path to Padstow. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Boulder Cottage. It’s a very comfortable, well equipped cottage with a lovely garden to the rear of the property. The garden had a patio and grassed area which meant that we were able to have many of our meals and drinks outdoors without having to leave the property.

The location is similarly excellent with a short walk to the beach and immediate access to the South West Coastal Path. We were also able to take a cross country route to walk to Padstow and a spectacular though longer return route along the coastal path. With a farm shop directly opposite and a pub a short distance away there was less need to use our car while we were there.

A lovely traditional cottage, just minutes’ walk from a gorgeous beach, this is a perfect holiday home.  It’s modern inside, with everything you could want in the kitchen, as well as a table and chairs on a patio next to a small lawn.  There’s a variety of wetsuits, body boards, buckets and spades for beach visits, indoor toys for children and adults, and overall a very homely and clean feel to the place. The life-guarded beach, with lots of space even in August, is ideal for swimming, surfing, and civil engineering in the sand (!!).  A farm shop opposite the cottage for basics, with a Tesco’s only a few minutes’ drive away on the edge of Padstow, which has all the facilities one could wish for.  Easy access to all Cornwall’s attractions, including a regular bus on the main road a few hundred yards away, as well as many walks, including the coast path. An ideal holiday place for families, but equally good for those looking for an adult break.

We have been holidaying at Boulder Cottage for several years. What an exceptional find it was! Every time we return it’s like ‘coming home’. Our year is not complete without knowing we have a trip to Trevone to look forward to.

Boulder has such a warm, light, airy, immaculate vibe,  with every facility needed for a perfect holiday at any time of the year. Boulder is very tastefully decorated with a modern feel. A real fire for cosy wintry evenings. A beautiful cottage garden with an outside shower to wash off sandy toes from a day at the spectacular Trevone bay beach. The owners have thought of everything. There are wetsuits/ surfboards/ games/ books/ toys/ a laundry room. The cottage and location are both superb...

My family love staying at Boulder Cottage for a seaside escape: it is the perfect mix of homely comfort with modern-day fittings and couldn't be better located. A stone's throw (literally) from the village shop where you can get your paper, fresh pastries or a pre-cooked meal, it is also a 4 minute walk down the hill to get to Trevone Beach which magically changes every time I go down there. You can also hop on to the footpath within a minute and take a walk (or run) to Harlyn Bay or Padstow. My family love to go to the sea swimming pool which is just below the cottage. Robert and Meg provide all you need from games, to DVDS, to washing lines, to sea-side mugs, to dishwasher tablets and most importantly, an outdoor shower for a wash off from a cold dip.  I have had some of my happiest memories staying there!

Trevone Bay is on the South West Coast Path which is England’s longest waymarked long-distance footpath and a National Trail.  Popular day walks from Boulder include to the National Trust owned Trevose Head, with its impressive lighthouse, along the dramatic cliffs to Harlyn or across fields to Padstow.
